Christine McLaughlin

Christine McLaughlin, 53, of Perrysburg passed away Thursday, September 15, 2005, in the Heartland of Waterville care facility. She was born December 29, 1951, to Stephen and Colice Kollarik in Toledo. Christine worked at the Lutheran Home at Toledo for 25 years as an STNA. She also drove school bus for Woodland Schools and was a former EMT for Perrysburg Township. Christine was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Master and the Northwood VFW, Post 2984 where she was past president and chaplain of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Christine is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, James; sons, Brian and James (Jennifer) McLaughlin, and grandson, Michael. She is also survived by her brothers, Jerry (Evelyn), George (Terrie), Gilbert (Patricia), Louis (Catherine) Kollarik; sisters, Polly Czarnecki, Nancy (Wendell) Trenchick, Mary (Fred) McLaughlin, Janice Kollarik, Paula (Daniel) Gladieux, Phyliss (Steven) Swartz, and Denise (Dave) Zona, mother-in-law, Eileen McLaughlin, and sisters-in-law, Jeri (Doug) Mercer and Jackie (Fred) Morlock. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Stephen (Skip); sister, Clarice Nofziger; nephew, Rob Trenchick; father-in-law, James and brother-in-law, Jeff.
Friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, (419) 693-9304, Sunday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. where members of the Ladies Auxiliary will conduct services at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions in Christine's name may be made to the family.
